hey hey hey. our new school is cool i am in year 5 now with mrs graham mrs kemp an mrs osgood. mrs weston is our p.e techer now. we do wake and shake in the morning we do all sort of things. we do maths with mrs weston on mondays.all the teachers have helped me through the time i have been here. I am excited because i am a year four and i really like my new teacher miss Edwards, she is really nice. My class room is much better than it was when we had the small mobiles and my class room has new stuff like pencils and more books. This school is much better than my old school because the teachers are nicer and it's bigger and the teachers make you feel happy. At my old school, key stage 1 could only do plays at Christmas and keystage2 could only do plays at summer. Here the whole school does a play each and they don't just do Christmas plays thay do other plays and thats why i like monkton school!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice to see Monkton is growing and developing more.Scott & Craig now live with mum at Canterbury.Scott is still at Dane Court Craig at St. Georges.I am working at the new Marlowe Academy a marvelous new school.Still look in fromm time to time to see how Monkton's doing and have fond memories of my sons time at the school.

I was a pupil at the school from about 1952 to 1958. I lived at a place called Monkton lodge, which has now been knocked down. It was about half way to Minster. I remember the school having about 50 pupils at most. Miss Foreman was the headmistress.

I left Monkton School in July 2005, and have now started my new school. Iam having a great time, and am getting on really well, but i am missing all my old friends and teachers.Thankyou to all the teachers for all the help they gave me while i was there.

I attended Monkton Primary from 1966 to 1969 or 70, after which I attended Clarendon House Grammar scool in Ramsgate. Since I now live in the Houston-Galveston area of Texas, USA, where a building is considered "historic" by the time it is 75, I am very happy to see that both schools still exist. My sisters, Alison and Thalia, and brother Adam also went to Monkton. Iremember a Mrs. Nicholls, lunch lady, there, and my favourite teacher of any I've had was Mrs. Angus. Ali, Adam and Tilly are all in Australia now, and my cousin Alex Saxby who went to school there was in Hong Kong last I heard.

The school has always been very helpful to me as a single parent and both Craig and Scott have been very happy and well cared for during their time at school. I find the staff very profesional and have always kept me well informed of any developments that have occur with both my sons. Thanks to all the staff.

An excellent site for all to enjoy and benefit from. For me as a parent it will be most useful, as the newly appointed chairman for the PTFA this year, invaluable. Keep up the good work.

I have recently returned to the Isle of Thanet with my 5 sons to allow them the opportunity of growing up in the area and am so pleased to see that the school is still providing the same educational service as when my elder sister and myself attended the school over 25 years ago, of which I still have many fond and vivid memories.

Delightful to connect with the school that was a part of my grandfather's life in the early 1900s. Looking forward to seeing the school when we travel from Canada to England in May 2002!
