Dear Parents and Governors,
Summer Term Dates
Overleaf is a list of diary dates for this term, please keep this list safe and refer to it often! You will be notified of any class/team activities separately.
School Testing
School testing continues until 15 June. May I remind you that it is very important that children are not absent from school during this time. Please ensure that your children are well rested.
The official opening of the school is taking place in the afternoon of 20 May 2008. This is for invited guests only. Parents are represented by Parent Governors and PTA Committee Members.
School Enrichment Week 3 – 6 June inclusive
Once again Mrs Kemp has planned an Enrichment Week for the whole school. The theme this year is transportation. Each day the children will take part in various activities, they will also be given talks, presentations or take part in workshops. Could you save a 2ltr plastic drinks bottle for your child? Please can your store this at home and send your child with it on 3 June 2008.
Please remember there is no formal homework set for this week. More details will follow nearer the time.
The class, team and Year 6 photographs will take place on the 9 June. Please ensure that your children are in very smart school uniform on this day. If your child is in Years 4, 5 and 6 and has played in our football team this year; please ensure they have their football boots in school.
Medication
If your child requires antihistamines or inhalers whilst they are at school, please ensure that these have been returned to Mrs Gunton. Thank you.
Parking Reversing
Please can I request that parents do not reverse their cars into W. S. Cole and Son’s entrance? There have been several very near misses in the last few weeks. W. S. Cole and Son have asked for the safety sake, please use the mini roundabout.
